Creat a Home Fire Escape Plan:

To begin developing a home fire escape plan with all members of your family, draw a map of your home. You can refer to NFPA's How to Make a Fire Escape Plan to get started, or simply make a map on a piece of paper. Then, use this checklist to make sure your escape plan includes all the elements needed to ensure your household’s safety from fire. 

 

Keep Your Home Cooking Safely:

According to the latest NFPA research, cooking is the leading cause of home fires. One out of three home fires begins in the kitchen - more than any other place in the home. This is not an issue to take lightly. Changing people's behaviors in the kitchen can help prevent these fires. NFPA has provided a Cooking safety checklist for your home. Check it out! Check
