On Friday afternoon, members welcomed Engine-Tanker 54 to the station as it arrived from Custom Fire Apparatus in Wisconsin. Earlier this week five members of our apparatus committee traveled to the factory to conduct the final inspection. The Engine-Tanker was built over the last couple month to meet the specifications of the committee.

This unit is a 2024 Spartan 6 person cab with a Custom Fire body. It carries 2,000 gallons of water and has a 1,500 GPM Hale fire pump. It also features a 3,000 gallon portable tank, rear and side dumps and various tools and equipment. Over the next several weeks members will be taking time to conduct pump training, drafting and dumping evolutions along with drivers training on the road.

We are excited to get this unit in service to serve our community.
