On Monday at 2214 hours, Stations 5 and 1 were alerted to a large brush fire on Abell Road. Multiple units responded and upon arrival located a large fire in the woods behind the dispatched address. Once crews were able to get an assessment on the fire, it was determined approximately 5 acres was burning in the heavily wooded area.

On Saturday evening, numerous members gathered at the station to welcome Volunteers from the Woodlawn Fire Department in Marion, North Carolina. At our last business meeting our membership voted to donate our reserve engine to a department in need in the state after the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

On Monday evening at 1914 hours, Engine 52 had just arrived back at the station from an EMS assist when St. Mary's Communications dispatched a reported house fire on Long Road in Clements. Engine 52 immediately responded with 6 personnel. Engine Tanker 51 followed behind with an additional 5 personnel. Chief 1A arrived and located a two story house with smoke showing from the second floor.

Today several members traveled to Hollywood to take part in a softball tournament with Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department, Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department and Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department. Each department played one game against each other.
