Brush Truck And UTV Respond To Waldorf

7th District Volunteers , November 06

On Wednesday evening UTV 5 was alerted to a large woods fire on Slater Drive In Waldorf. UTV 5 operated for approximately an hour and a half on scene with units from across Southern Maryland controlling the fire. UTV 5 was part of the brush fire task force.

No Caption Multi Acre Woods Fire In Abell

7th District Volunteer's, November 04

On Monday at 2214 hours, Stations 5 and 1 were alerted to a large brush fire on Abell Road. Multiple units responded and upon arrival located a large fire in the woods behind the dispatched address. Once crews were able to get an assessment on the fire, it was determined approximately 5 acres was burning in the heavily wooded area.

Department Sends Reserve Engine To North Carolina

Fire Chief J.A. Nelson, October 26

On Saturday evening, numerous members gathered at the station to welcome Volunteers from the Woodlawn Fire Department in Marion, North Carolina. At our last business meeting our membership voted to donate our reserve engine to a department in need in the state after the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

No Caption Volunteers Respond To Clements House Fire

7th District Volunteers, September 03

On Monday evening at 1914 hours, Engine 52 had just arrived back at the station from an EMS assist when St. Mary's Communications dispatched a reported house fire on Long Road in Clements. Engine 52 immediately responded with 6 personnel. Engine Tanker 51 followed behind with an additional 5 personnel. Chief 1A arrived and located a two story house with smoke showing from the second floor.

Working House Fire In Colton's Point

7th District Volunteers, August 29

On Thursday afternoon at 1221 hours, our station and surrounding companies were alerted to a reported house fire on Bayview Road in Colton's Point. As units were responding, communications advised callers reported fire on the second floor of the home. No Caption Two Alarm House Fire in Piney Point

7th District Volunteers, April 24

Early Wednesday morning, Engine 52 and Tanker 5 were alerted to a house fire on Whitestone Drive in Piney Point on the second alarm. Crews operated for several hours extinguishing the over 6,000 square foot home. Once clear the scene, Engine 52 handled a transfer to Station 3.
