On Wednesday morning, at 0729 hours Companies 5, 1, 59, 19 and the Medic Unit were alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with rollover, reported to be serious in the area of Budds Creek Road and Airport Ln. Chief 5, Squad 5 and Engine 52 responded on the call. Medic 1 was first to arrive on location and advised incoming units of a single patient still in the vehicle but not trapped. With that information Chief 5 cancelled Engine 52, Squad 1 and Company 19. Squad 5 arrived on scene and was assigned to secure the vehicle and assist EMS with patient care. Ambulance 598 transported the single patient to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital. Squad 5 returned to quarters at 0807.
