Thursday night at 11:15 p.m. Station 5 was alerted to an auto fire on Manor Road in Clements. Chief 5A arrived and located a vehicle abandoned in a field fully involved. Engine 52 arrived and pulled a crosslay to extinguish the fire. The Sheriff's Office and the State Fire Marshals Office responded to the scene to investigate. Engine 52 remained on the scene for approximately an hour assisting law enforcement.
