Engine and Squad Respond to Leonardtown Fire

On Thursday morning at approximately 0234 hours, Company 5 was alerted mutual aid to Leonardtown for the reported working house fire. Engine 52 and Squad 5 responded with a total of 9 volunteers. Chief 1 arrived on location to a single story, single family residence with heavy fire on the rear.

Early Morning MVA in Avenue

Early Saturday morning at 0243 hours, Companies 5, 59 and 19 were alerted for a single vehicle accident with injuries. Squad 5 responded with 5 volunteers and due to the accident occurring just in front of our quarters was on scene within moments. Longview Beach Kitchen Fire

On Sunday afternoon just after 1603 hours, Companies 5, 1, 2, 7 , Charles 2, 59 and 19 were alerted to the 23000 block of Longview Boulevard for the reported structure fire. Engine 52 responded just after dispatch along with Tanker 5. Chief 5A arrived on location and located a 2 story split foyer with nothing evident but had an audible alarm. Boat Utilized For House Burn Drill In Compton

On Sunday morning a crew on Boat 5 headed to Newtown Neck State Park to take part in a burn drill with Company 1. A vacant house on the park property was burned. A 3" supply line was ran from Boat 5 which was beached along the shoreline up to the supply pumper for the drill. A crew participated in the burn with the crews from Company 1. Crews Visit Dynard Elementary For Fire Prevention and Fall Festival

On Friday morning crews on Engine 52 and Tanker 5 went to Dynard Elementary School for fire prevention talks and demonstrations. As units arrived a fire drill was conducted. Once students were settled back in school a large assembly was held in the cafeteria. Members provided the students with numerous lessons on fire prevention. Two Vehicle Accident On Colton Point Road

7th District Volunteer's, October 07

On Friday afternoon Stations 5, 59 and 19 were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Colton Point Road at Hurry Road. A short time after dispatch additional information was received that two vehicles were involved with one person trapped. The assignment was upgraded adding Squad 1 and the Medic Unit. Chief 5A arrived on the scene and confirmed one trapped and established the command.

On Wednesday morning, at 0729 hours Companies 5, 1, 59, 19 and the Medic Unit were alerted for a Motor Vehicle Accident with rollover, reported to be serious in the area of Budds Creek Road and Airport Ln. Chief 5, Squad 5 and Engine 52 responded on the call. Medic 1 was first to arrive on location and advised incoming units of a single patient still in the vehicle but not trapped.
