House Fire In Country Lakes

7th District Volunteer's, September 13

Wednesday morning at 0956 hours, Engines 2, 5, 1, Charles 2, Truck 1, Truck 7 and Squad 2 were alerted to a structure fire on West Winston Drive in Country Lakes. Engine 52 responded with 4 personnel. Chief 5A was in the Chaptico area and responded on the call. Ambulance 297 arrived and advised there was smoke showing from the house and the occupants were out. Boat 5 Locates Unoccupied Boat In Potomac

7th District Volunteer's, September 09

Early Saturday morning information was received of a unoccupied boat floating in the Potomac River. Boat 5 responded and located the boat approximately 1 mile off St. Clement's Island. The boat was taken to St. Clement's Island and information was provided to US Coast Guard in reference to the boat. The owner of the boat was later located and retrieved the boat from the Island. ... Oven Fire In Clements

7th District Volunteer's, September 06

On Wednesday morning Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Charles 2, EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to a structure fire on Colton Point Road in Clements. Reports were of an oven fire inside the residence. Chief 5A arrived on scene finding a single story house with smoke showing from the front door. A fire was located in the kitchen of the house. Engine Responds To Building Fire After Transfer

7th District Volunteer's, September 03

On Sunday night Engine 52 transferred to Station 2 while crews operated on a house fire on Woodburn Hill Road. Shortly after Engine 52 cleared the transfer a building fire was dispatched in Charlotte Hall. Engine 52 ran the assignment with 4 personnel. Mill Point Shores Day Parade

On Saturday Engine 52, Tanker 5, Brush 5 and Command 5 with crews attended the Mill Point Shores Day Parade. This event was held several years ago in the Mill Point Shores Community and brought back this year with the opening of their renovated clubhouse. Fire Boat Runs Multiple Incidents Over Weekend

7th District Volunteers, July 03

Starting Thursday afternoon Boat 5 ran several water related incidents on the Potomac River and surrounding waterways. Saturday morning Boat 5 and Boat 6 responded to Kinsail Virginia for a Marina Fire. Upon arrival, units from Westmoreland County had contained the fire which involved a boat that had exploded and a pier fire. Two patients were flown by helicopter to trauma centers. Large Field Fire In Clements

Fire Chief J.A. Nelson, June 22

At 1215 hours Stations 5, 1, 2, 7, Charles 2 and EMS 59 and 19 were alerted to a structure fire on Coles Adventure Lane in Clements. Fireboard received reports of a barn and field fire threatening other structures. Lieutenant 5 arrived on the scene and located a large field and woods fire but the barn was not yet involved.
